After much persistence by the Andersons, the shelter agreed to make an exception and let the husky go with them. But, it was to be on the condition that they would take the husky themselves to a vet for a full checkup as soon as possible. Despite the fact that they were making an exception, this was a process they couldn’t bypass.
They were also going to at least process the paperwork within the shelter before letting the husky out of their hands. Billy gladly accepted the conditions laid out before him, and they got to sign the papers required for the adoption process.
