How Vile Can Some People Be: The World’s Most Evil and Notorious Serial Killers In History
Donald Henry Gaskins
Donald Henry “Pee Wee” Gaskins was arguably one of the most prominent serial murderers in South Carolina history in the late ’70s. He, however, did not appear to be a cold-hearted murderer. The assassin is alleged to have tortured and mutilated between 80 and 110 people. He began murdering in 1969, taking up hitchhikers mostly on the American South’s coastal roadways.
A gangster associate saw him murdering two young males and testified to authorities. He was condemned to death, which was eventually commuted to life in jail without the possibility of release. Gaskins added some other killings to his record, making him the first guy to ever assassinate a death-row inmate.
