The idea of sibling rivalry has existed for ages now. A key factor in it is pranking each other while getting a good laugh out of it. That is probably what happened in this case. Whoever took this photo of the lady probably noticed the resemblance between her uneven-toned tan and that of the popsicle stick.
Popsicles are just a blend of ice pops on a stick. It is a mixture of color, sugar, corn syrup, gum, and stabilizers. The ice section of the snack is placed on the top part of the stick so that after the processing, the stick is left with two shades of its previous color.
