Eerie Abandoned Disney Attractions You Never Knew Existed

The Mysterious Closure of a South Korean Amusement Park.

Located on the outskirts of Okpo-dong, South Korea, Okpo Land was a short-lived amusement park that opened in 1996 and shut down three years later. Although the park’s closure has been attributed to a series of fatal accidents, particularly the death of a child who fell from the duck rollercoaster ride, this reasoning has been disputed, with rumors suggesting the real reason was financial issues.

After its closure, Okpo Land was left deserted, with the tragic remains of the capsized duck train hanging over the edge. The ride stood in the same position until the park was eventually demolished in 2011 to make way for a hotel.
