Stockard Channing (80) – Grease
Born in Manhattan in 1944, award-winning actress Stockard Channing has had an eventful career that has earned her several awards and nominations. Her most popular role was ‘Betty’ in the 1978 Grease film, which earned her the People’s Choice Award. She was nominated for the Academy Award in 1993 for the film version of Six Degrees of Separation.
Channing’s first television role was in “Sesame Street.” Her first leading television role came in the 1973 comedy, “The girl most likely to…” Some of her most popular works include “Practical Magic,” “Six Degrees of Separation,” and “Grease.” Channing’s last TV role was in “Death to 2021.”
