The Enchanted Tiki Room (Under New Management)
In the early years of the new millennium, Disney attempted to update one of its classic attractions, Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room, with The Enchanted Tiki Room (Under New Management) in Magic Kingdom, Florida. The attraction featured the characters Iago and Zazu from the popular Disney films “Aladdin” and “The Lion King,” respectively.
However, the new version failed to capture the charm of the original, and visitors had mixed reviews. Some guests were disappointed with the cynical and jarring tone that replaced the calming atmosphere of the original show. After a small fire caused damage to the attraction, Disney eventually restored the classic version.
