Ho Thuy Tien: An Eerie Waterpark in Central Vietnam
Ho Thuy Tien was meant to be a magnificent waterpark in central Vietnam, boasting exotic aquariums, water slides, and a giant arena. It opened in 2004, only partially finished, but still managed to attract visitors awed by its beauty and grandeur. However, just a few years later, the park closed abruptly and never reopened, leaving the overgrown and abandoned area to be taken over by nature.
Despite its eerie and forgotten state, the place has become a popular destination for adventurous travelers seeking an unusual experience. Its most striking feature is the three-story-tall dragon with fish-filled scales, a haunting reminder of the park’s once-majestic past.
