When this family was posing, they did not know the end results. They hoped for an attractive pic they would send out on their Christmas card. While dad may not be amused at all, we can only imagine how the rest of the gang burst out laughing once they saw the image.
There was probably a little person behind the brood that made the guy appear to have a tiny hand. The individual behind the snap may also have had ill intentions or is just a funny human being.
