2024 Miss America’s Double Life as Air Force Officer Shocks the World
Achieving a Rare Academic Honor
Madison proved herself a high-flying student in more ways than one, including appearing on the Dean’s List eight times. At the USAFA, cadets qualify for the list by achieving a Grade Point Average of 3.0 or above for the previous semester. That distinction is recognized by the awarding of the Dean’s Pin, symbolizing outstanding academic performance.
Forging her path with unparalleled zeal, Madison is also a two-time National Astronaut Scholar. This scholarship is given to exceptional college students who are studying science, technology, engineering, or mathematics—also known as STEM fields. The recipients are recognized for their potential as researchers and for their academic excellence.
